List of common questions that we hear

a. Any Graduate Engineer or a Diploma holder can enroll as a member of KEHBCS. Earlier membership was restricted to engineers serving Govt. of Karnataka only. This was later relaxed to any Graduate Engineer or Diploma holder from the state of Karnataka.

b. Associate Members: an Associate member will not have voting powers. Associate membership is open to all irrespective of their qualification. There is a restriction that only 15% of total members can be associate members.

c. Membership is not automatic. Membership is subject to approval by the board of directors of KEHBCS.

d. Member should be domicile of state of Karnataka for a minimum period of ten years.

e. Membershould not be owning a house or site in his name

Along with the application form, members should submit


  1. 1. Engineering Diploma / Degree Certificate from a recognized institution.
  2. 2. Passport Size Photos – 4 Nos
  3. 3. Address Proof
  4. 4. Pan Card
  5. 5. Aadhar Card
  6. 6. Affidavit

No. Purchasing a site is not mandatory. You can become a member of KEHBCS without buying a site.

All members can express their desire to acquire a site by submitting an application form with requisite fees when KEHBCS announces a new project and invites applications.

a. Allotment of site is on the principles of “first come first served” basis amongst members who have remitted prescribed advance & subsequent payment and meet all other eligibility criteria.

Members can pay online by NEFT / RTGS to our account as below. After transfer of funds, please send us an email with your membership number & UTR number . Our Emai-ID –kehbcsociety@gmail.com. After reconciliation, we will confirm the receipt of your transfer and issue our receipt for the same.

Office bearers have put in their best efforts to ensure that the land they procure have proper title deeds and statutory approvals are in place. They also engage legal experts for scrutiny of documents.

All sites owners get an e-khatha in their name. This is the official ownership document or title deed

Payment schedule will be intimated during the application stage. All members need to adhere to this schedule of payment.

Site will not be registered until all payments are made.
